You should always make sure you're getting the exact medication BEFORE you leave the pharmacy. Once you've left, you won't be able to return the med and request for the original one prescribed. At least that's the law in NYC where I live--and I suspect it's the law everywhere.

I just went online today to ask the same question. I picked up my meds 3 days ago and have been extremely tired so I do believe the answer is yes! I don't like this medicine. I'm way too tired.

FIRST MOMMY; ARE YOU SAYING THIS NEW ONE ONLY HAS THE ONE DRUG AND NOT THE COMBINATION OF THE TWO. AS IN ADDERALL. IF THAT IS THE CASE TAKE IT BACK TO THE PHARMACY AND MAKE SURE YOU GOT THE GENERIC ADDERALL AND NOT JUST DEXADRINE. LET THE PHARMACIST KNOW THAT IT SHOULD BE ADDERALL GENERIC NOT JUST DEXTROAMPHETAMINE BY IT'S SELF. DO THIS ASAP. IF IT TURNS OUT TO BE THE RIGHT THING ASK IF THEY HAVE THE BRAND YOU ARE USED TO OR DID THE DOCTOR WRITE THE WRONG ONE LETS FIRST RULE OUT AN ERROR AND GET IT FIXED LET ME KNOW IF THIS DOES NOT HELP BUT THEY HAVE TO LOOK AT THE ORIGINAL RX AND SEE WHAT THE DOCTOR WROTE AND YOU GOT THE RIGHT THING.
