Amoxicillin is the best antibiotic when it comes to mouth, throat and sinuses. If your doctor prescribed Amoxicillin for tooth or gum infection than you have a good doctor.

Depends on how sensitive you are to antibiotics too. It can be especially tough on some people's stomach versus other types of antibiotics and others take fewer total days to finish.
