Do i take all at once (60 mg) or divide it out through the day?
I am to take 6 , 10mg pills a day of Prednisone. Do I take them all at once or divide the 60 mg thr?

Quite honestly, you can do either. If you prefer, you can divide them or you can take them all at once, it really doesnt matter in the long run as long as you get 60mg in a day. Some people get stomach upset and dividing them may help with that. You can call and ask your doc which he prefers, or you can just decide yourself. You can do 3 in the am and 3 in the pm or you can do 2 in am, 2 at noon and 2 in the pm or take them all at once.

Take them all at once, but take them with food. I just did the prednisone thing with my eczema. I start with the 60 mg. The reason you get 10 mg pills is so that you can decrease the dose.

I believe the wise thing to do is ask your Dr., I would divide them but I am not a Dr.
