I just start using 10mg, made a change from coveram to amlodipine cause the coveram gave me a cough that did not stop. In how many days I can get rid of this cough?
How long does it take for thr amlodipine to work and lowet my blood predsire?

maureen; Your new medicine for the blood pressure well start to work on your blood pressure within hours, As far as the one that was making you cough that can vary by person but I would think withing 5 to 10 days it should all be out of your system It can work different on different people but that is pretty common And the new one should not cause that it is in a differnt family of medications Hope you feel better soon.
