I just started Lexapro this last month for anxiety, after having side effects from Zoloft. The first month on Lexapro was great, when i went back to the doctor for a usual check up on how the meds were doing he advise me to up it to 10mg, which i refused ( i know dumb me ). So I guess now I am curious if that's why the anxiety could be acting up again. Although getting my period does make it worse from i PMS pretty badly. If you guys can give me some tips or advice that would be great. Cause so far i love Lexapro, so I'm hoping to be able to stay on it.
2 month on Lexapro (5mg), but still having anxiety & intrusive thoughts?

I’m on Zoloft currently for the past 6 months almost.
I guess if you were still getting your panic attacks then it could help to increase your dose, it’s always better to follow the dr’s instructions I believe…
May I ask you what were the side effects of Zoloft? Because honestly I don’t feel so good even after all these months
I dont have panic attacks, i just have anxiety. But yeah i think im just going to go ahead and tell him to give me the 10mg
& My side effects were that i would sweat & diarrhea (tmi i know) , but u always assumed it was anxiety side effects bc thats how i would feel physically when my anxiety came.
But now that im on Lexapro i dont sweat at all or even have diarrhea. So in the end it was the Zoloft
