2 potential interactions and/or warnings found for the following 2 drugs:
- bromfenac
- TechneScan MAG3 (betiatide)
Interactions between your drugs
bromfenac betiatide
Applies to: bromfenac, TechneScan MAG3 (betiatide)
Betiatide is an imaging agent used to evaluate the function and status of your kidneys. Your doctor will be monitoring you to see how quickly your body eliminates betiatide through your kidneys and into your urine. Using betiatide together with bromfenac may increase the blood levels of one or both medications. This might affect the results of your diagnostic test. Your doctor may already be aware of the risks, but has determined that this is the best course of treatment for you, has taken appropriate precautions and is monitoring you closely for any potential complications. Please contact your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
bromfenac food
Applies to: bromfenac
Food significantly decreases the levels of bromfenac. Avoid eating a high-fat meal. Take bromfenac on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication.
