- bromfenac / prednisolone ophthalmic
- lepirudin
Interactions between your drugs
bromfenac lepirudin
Applies to: bromfenac / prednisolone ophthalmic, lepirudin
Ask your doctor before using bromfenac together with lepirudin. Using bromfenac with lepirudin can cause you to bleed more easily. You may need a dose adjustment in addition to testing of your prothrombin time or International Normalized Ratio (INR). Call your doctor promptly if you have any unusual bleeding or bruising, vomiting, blood in your urine or stools, headache, dizziness, or weakness. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
bromfenac food
Applies to: bromfenac / prednisolone ophthalmic
Food significantly decreases the levels of bromfenac. Avoid eating a high-fat meal. Take bromfenac on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication.
