Sevelamer may interact with other medications if taken directly with them. As a precaution, other medications that can be affected by changes in blood levels should be administered 1 hour before or 3 hours after sevelamer. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication.
sodium zirconium cyclosilicate food

Sodium zirconium cyclosilicate may affect the absorption of other medications that you take by mouth. In some cases, this may affect how well and/or how fast those medications work, or it may make no difference. In general, other oral medications should be taken 2 hours before or 2 hours after you take sodium zirconium cyclosilicate unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Talk to a healthcare provider if you have any questions or concerns, and contact your doctor if your symptoms worsen or your condition changes. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
