Interactions between your drugs
methylene blue solriamfetol
Applies to: methylene blue, Sunosi (solriamfetol)
Using solriamfetol together with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) like methylene blue is not recommended. Combining these medications can cause blood pressure to get dangerously high, which may be a medical emergency. Serious and potentially life-threatening problems can occur. Generally, you should wait at least 14 days after you stop using an MAOI before you start using solriamfetol. Check with your healthcare provider before you start using solriamfetol if you have been receiving methylene blue. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
