Using iohexol together with sodium iodide I-131 can alter the effects of sodium iodide I-131. Certain medications may effect the results of sodium iodide I-131. Multivitamin with minerals may affect the diagnostic results of sodium iodide I-131. Talk to your doctor before you are scheduled for testing to find out if and for how long you should stop using multivitamin with minerals so that it does not interfere with sodium iodide I-131 test results.
