Drug Interaction Report
2 potential interactions and/or warnings found for the following 2 drugs:
- iohexol
- Vyduo (nebivolol / valsartan)
Interactions between your drugs
iohexol nebivolol
Applies to: iohexol, Vyduo (nebivolol / valsartan)
Before you undergo any imaging procedure where iohexol may be given by injection, let your doctor know if you are currently being treated with nebivolol. Injection of iohexol can sometimes cause severe allergic reactions and low blood pressure, and the risk may be increased if you are also using nebivolol. In addition, treatment of the allergic reactions may be more difficult if medications like nebivolol are present in the body. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
valsartan food
Applies to: Vyduo (nebivolol / valsartan)
If you are taking valsartan you should avoid potassium-containing salt substitutes or over-the-counter potassium supplements without first talking to your doctor. This can cause high levels of potassium in your blood. High levels of potassium can cause weakness, irregular heartbeat, confusion, tingling of the extremities, or feelings of heaviness in the legs. Call your doctor at once if you have any of these symptoms.

Therapeutic duplication warnings are only returned when drugs within the same group exceed the recommended therapeutic duplication maximum.
