Lumasiran (applies to Oxlumo) liver dysfunction
Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: Liver Disease
Lumasiran has not been studied in patients with severe liver dysfunction (total bilirubin greater than 3 times the upper limit of normal [3 x ULN] with any AST). No dose adjustment is recommended for patients with mild (total bilirubin greater than 1 to 1.5 x ULN or AST greater than 1 x ULN) or moderate (total bilirubin greater than 1.5 to 3 x ULN with any AST) liver dysfunction.
Lumasiran (applies to Oxlumo) renal dysfunction
Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: peritoneal dialysis
Lumasiran has not been studied in patients on peritoneal dialysis. No dose adjustment is needed in patients with renal dysfunction, including patients with renal failure treated with hemodialysis.
