"Have been taking Staxyn for about two years. The first 6 months, it worked amazing. 3 or 4 times a night was no problem. Slowly, I have found a tolerance builds up, and now it only works about half as well as it did before. My side effects are a very stuffy nose and headache. I usually use a nose spray after taking it and also take Tylenol. This way, no plugged nose and no headache."

"I got a 20 mg sample from my doctor, and following his advice, I cut the tablet in half for 10 mg. Although effective, I experienced troublesome side effects. Fast heartbeat, low blood pressure, headache, muscle pain, back pain, ringing in the ears, and abnormal orgasm. (Orgasm happened a few seconds before I could feel it.) On the plus side, it seems to be a powerful medicine, but it is not right for me. I will try a lower dose of a less powerful medication."

"I am 64 years old, average height and weight. About six months or so ago, the little corporal became rather uncooperative. Visited the doctor and had blood work and a checkup. Everything came back as good, no health issues. Obtained a script for Levitra, and after reading many reviews, had high hopes for my next date with my girlfriend. I took 20 mg. Over the next 3 to 4 hours and repeated attempts by my sweet girlfriend to get the corporal to salute, I realized that it wasn't going to work for me. Quite disappointed and not sure how to proceed with solving my problem."

"I am aged 39, and since 2 months or so, I started to lose erection during sex with my wife, and she told me to get myself checked. I had little depression, but I have had worse depression before, but never had erection problems. It slowly started to get worse, and then in time, it wouldn't even get a little stiff. Luckily, my friend happens to be a doctor, and he gave me a sample blister with 4 pills. "I used 10 mg Levitra for the first time. Felt it starting to work after about 1 hour. Certainly fuller and wider but not longer, but still couldn't come. No headaches. Tiny bit of face flushing, but did have 1 large glass of white wine to relax before initiating anything. Think if I had taken 20 mg, it would have done the trick as 10 mg too weak for me and much better than Viagra or Cialis. Will definitely use again, but 20 mg next time."

"41 years old with mild erectile dysfunction. Tried the 10 mg with little results, did the 20 mg, and it worked great! Took it one hour prior on a full stomach, didn't slow down the effects. "70 years old - I get this through the VA (they tried to get me to switch to Viagra but gave me an exception to stay on Levitra when I complained). I've had great results with this if I am exercising regularly - like 30 minutes a day on a stationary bike. Even with the exercise, it only works with about a six-day interval - which is enough for me and my 60-year-old wife. Slight stuffiness with 10mg (get the 20mg tab and half it for more doses) - the stuffiness in the nose goes away after about three hours. For me, the Levitra works best after seven hours and will work up until about twelve hours. Good for about a 40-minute romp."

"Tried it last night, and wow, it was like I was in my twenties again. Had fairly bad acid reflux, that was a bummer, but the performance gain was amazing. Before, my half-erection wouldn't last 5 minutes, last night it was up for a good hour. Thank you."

"Used this pill at 5 mg, and it worked, but the erection was uncomfortable (too hard). It caused congestion and a severe headache within 20 minutes of taking the pill. Have tried Viagra and found better results from 50 mg of that. Levitra worked, but would not recommend it as much as Viagra."

"It’s probably individual. Try all three main ED drugs and choose the one best for you at the moment. I’ve tried all three. Cialis is in a different class. I get no side effects until I’ve been taking it for 4-5 days in a row. Then I get leg cramps. I get some minor headaches. Viagra and Levitra are similar. Nasal stuffiness is worse with Viagra. Stomach upset is worse with Levitra, so that’s a wash. Both take an hour to reach full effect. Viagra lasts longer, but Levitra is more intense. Pick your poison!"

"Had 2 pills of 20 mg (max dose recommended is just 20 mg) after the food, but now it's been 2 days. I can't even walk because my back is paining and legs are killing me. Feel like veins are clogged. "I tried Levitra 10 mg about a week ago. 15 minutes after I took it, I had an erection that I hadn't experienced in a while. I tried it a week apart, and nothing. Kind of disappointed. Maybe I'll try something else."

"I have been taking Levitra for years. I was 350 lbs, and it worked great. Now that I've lost 100 lbs, it's not working, and I don't know why. I'm off all my meds due to weight loss, and now it doesn't work at all. Even Viagra doesn't work. The only thing I'm taking now is an aspirin a day that I wasn't taking before. I would like to know what happened. The doctor doesn't know why it quit working after all these years."

"Very effective medication, especially if you follow guidelines. I do notice an effect with my vision on the following days. It's as if I have light sensitivity or dry eyes. I've heard of blindness associated with these medicines, so anything having to do with my eyes is of concern."

"Having tried 10 mg, which started to work, I tried the 20 mg. Took over 90 minutes before it kicked in and started getting aroused. Tried intercourse 5 times, but each time lost my erection after a few minutes, so very disappointed. Apparently, they now have a new, more recent, and improved Levitra called Levitra Professional, so I will try that and see if any better."

"At 60, I began experiencing erections that were not rock hard, and during sex, at times I would lose an erection but be able to get it back and climax normally. I wanted a harder erection and talked to the doctor and tried 20 mg Levitra. Ate supper at 5 pm, took the pill at 9 pm, waited 30 min, and began foreplay. Got the usual erection, more than a chubby, but an erection of my youth... so really no change... had a very hard time (no pun intended) to climax. Had to rest and start again before I could climax. Second erection the same, more than a chubby, but not rock hard. "I guess it worked for ED issues, but had a headache so bad I thought it gave me an aneurysm. Tried it a few times, same result. Now, when having sex, I get the same terrible headache. Cannot function and leaves me unable to even move sometimes. Was prescribed another med to take before attempting sex to prevent headache, but 90+ percent of the time, it's bad and debilitating. Did not have headaches during sex before trying it."

"I'm 37, and my doctor advised me to take 1/4 of a 20 mg pill, and the results were...nothing the first time. I took it on an empty stomach, as advised. I tried 1/2 of a pill a week later, two hours after I ate, and the results were...nothing once again. I'm going to take the whole 20 mg next week."

"I had a radical prostatectomy at age 50. It left me impotent for about 3 years, but I lost about 60 lbs, and I've been swimming for 2 years now. Levitra has helped me achieve a strong erection when paired with the right stimuli. Sometimes the side effects are horrible in the form of a very bad headache, and other times it is hardly noticeable. I must be physically fit enough for sex, or my conservative Chinese doctor would not have prescribed it. Since I had cancer in the even core of the prostate, the surgery was extensive. I thought I was sexually doomed after the surgery, but cardiovascular exercise has helped me tremendously. The nerves are damaged, but increasing the health of the circulatory system has benefited my ED condition. It helps!"

"I'm 40 and in decent but not fantastic physical condition. I was noticing occasional erection problems, particularly when stressed or tired. 10 mg of Levitra seems to overcome any level of stress or fatigue for me. A miracle product, but very expensive. Best of all is having a happy wife."

"Taking 20 mg, all I can say is 'guess it is ok, when it works.' I have tried the top three oral medications for ED. I can say that when it works, it stimulates a very firm erection. However, I have begun to feel like as soon as it takes effect, I had better take advantage. I normally do suffer headaches, mild to moderate, and get very flushed. We also have noticed that the time it takes to start working has varied from 1 - 4 hours."
