"I had serious trouble breathing for several days before I decided to see a doctor. Even the albuterol inhaler and Benadryl weren't working. It was awful! I felt lightheaded and weak and constantly yawning, gasping as I tried to take a deep breath. The doctor gave me a Z-pack. I asked if she could give me a steroid pack too, I've never taken steroids before, but the pharmacist I work with had told me it would probably help. The doctor said yes and gave me one, and I took all six tablets with lunch. Wow, I felt miles better in just a couple of hours! It was like night and day. It's now nighttime, I feel a little short of breath again, but hopefully by tomorrow I can begin feeling better again. I'll be taking the tablets as the pack directs, so hopefully, the effects last all day. If you have bronchitis or an upper respiratory infection like me, definitely ask for a steroid pack, but make sure it doesn't affect anything else you take! It helped so much for me and was only a few bucks!"

For Inflammatory Conditions "I had a lip biopsy, and a week later my lip swelled up. Doctor called in amoxicillin and 4 mg of this methylprednisolone. A day later I woke up red and swollen in my face. I looked it up, and it’s flushing. But I think it’s this medication because it was after I took the before breakfast one. I’ve had prednisone before and never got this. It always helped my arthritis, but my lip swelling is going down, don’t know if I need this. Called the doctor and will see him in a few days. I wish the flushing never happened. Maybe I’ll cut the pill in half."

"I felt better, but the side effects were terrible. Couldn’t sleep at night, tossed and turned. Sweaty but cold. Body aches. Doctor said they were just side effects and to stick it out. I will never take this again."

For Inflammatory Conditions "About day 2, my foot felt a lot better. Day 3, I had to work a 5-hour shift on my feet the entire time except for a 10-minute break. My foot pain started in after about 3 hours instead of the usual 2. I have something messed up by my 5th metatarsal bone/cuboid. After 2 x-rays, one showing a fracture, and an MRI that did not, now they think it is tendonitis. The Dosepak was to help with the inflammation. But I don't think it is a big help. Off to PT in five weeks for it (all booked up/holidays not helping), and hopefully, what they teach/show me will help in its management and healing, as well as working on losing some excess weight, which obviously does not help. I did not have any side effects from it. Very easy to use, just have to remember to take the dose when it says to. I wish it worked better though. Have only taken Motrin and Mobic for it, neither helped."
