"I had raw buttocks (inside cheeks), uncertain cause. Accompanied by pruritus. Dermatologist or internal doctors did not recommend any product. I tried butt paste. It helped itching slightly, but the raw appearance didn’t improve. After research, I came across mixed reviews on Calmoseptine. I felt, what the heck. I really have nothing to lose. The biggest complaint was some slight burning from the product. If scratching the area, then certainly it would burn a little. I was very careful not to scratch the area before applying. This is amazing, in less than a week, the rawness is almost healed and no pruritus!! Please give this product a try if you’re having issues."

"If you use Calmoseptine in your groin area for skin irritation, it is very helpful, but if you need to go through the full body scanner at the airport because of i.e. an artificial knee, be prepared for a pat down. Apparently, an ingredient in the product is also used in making explosives."

"The doctor gave me a sample for inflamed perianal and genital area. I was surprised to find it so gritty, like there was sand in it. Also, I did not care for the menthol cooling/burning effect. The pain of the irritation was reduced, but the whole area is still red. I think just plain zinc oxide would work better."

"I was diagnosed with lichen sclerosis of the vulva. I suffered severe itch, shedding of skin, cuts, and burning pain after urination. After many visits to the hospital, specialists, and expensive compound ointments made, I came across Calmoseptine in a chemist and thought, why not? I applied a few times a day. Initially, it stung for a few seconds, but then gave a cool, tingly feeling. The itch stopped, it provided a barrier during ruination, and healed the cuts in a few days. The skin in that area healed, and I haven’t had any symptoms for years. Every now and then, if I get a flare-up, I apply, and the symptoms usually disappear within a few days."
