"Had strep throat. Went to the doctor; he gave me penicillin; took it for 10 days; a week later, I had a relapse; I went back to the doctor, more penicillin; I took it for 10 days, a week later, I had a relapse. Then I went to a homeopathic nurse. She explained the idea of using lecithin, an emulsifier, to help the system clean itself out and also help with my cat allergy. At my parents' house, I slept outside in a tent to avoid the cats. By day 3 of taking the lecithin, as well as some vitamin C, I had no more strep throat, and it didn't come back. By the end of the week, I could walk around inside the house with only a mild effect on my breathing from the cats. Since 1981, whenever I got sinusitis, laryngitis, bronchitis, or strep throat, I always took lecithin and vitamin C, not antibiotics. I visited the Korean pharmacy in Korea and discovered that they had lecithin oil with garlic oil in one capsule, which worked even better. Now I take lecithin, vitamin C, and garlic as my cold remedy."
