"Ginseng is the best thing I have found for PTSD. I can't take SSRIs, so my options to treat that are limited. I disassociate much less when I take this, and I'm less likely to have intrusive or suicidal thoughts. I thought I just got better, but then I ran out of my ginseng supplement, and within a week, I felt awful and crazy again. It doesn't completely get rid of symptoms, but it helps a lot. Also, when I take it, I don't drink nearly as much coffee. It gives me energy. Take it in the morning or early in the day, so it doesn't interfere with sleep."

"My experience with ginseng has been amazing. I used to hear voices of my PTSD events, I had a lot of anxiety, and fatigue from head trauma. I started taking RED KOREAN GINSENG twice a day as it says on the bottle, my voices have subsided to one ear only and are going away and further away every day, I am also less anxious and have a lot more energy."

"Do not take this if you are on any antidepressants or antipsychotics, it interacts very badly and can lead to psychosis. Ginseng is best avoided, as are all adaptogens like Rhodiola and Ashwagandha, they can have very unpleasant effects on mood, anxiety levels, and can cause extreme anxiety or anger. There are better, safer alternatives."

"I am 64. I am in very good health, but at this age, I cannot sustain my erection for a sufficient time. So I tried 3 kinds of ginseng. I had a very strong and sustained erection. But unfortunately, 2 times I got high blood pressure for 2 days until 17/11, and the 3rd time I got a big allergy with muscle shaking and blood pressure rising quickly. I stopped it. So I don't dare take it anymore. Is there a solution?"

"I was taking a supplement that includes ginseng, rhodiola, and cordyceps, which should help with stress, energy levels, better circulation, and calmness. Massive price tag on this supplement, it doesn't help with any problems mentioned above. All it did was make me feel nervous and anxious, with running thoughts at 100 mph, unable to concentrate on simple tasks, an upset stomach, and headaches thereafter. Another supplement thrown away..."

"I have hypersomnia. It didn't help me with my sleepiness, however, I noticed it eased my allergies (itchy skin and scalp). Taken alone, I didn't notice any side effects, but when combined with an antidepressant, it caused me mild serotonin syndrome. I didn't know it was contraindicated, my doctor didn't warn me."

"No effect after taking for two months. Took this for general weakness and dizziness."
"I've been taking Siberian ginseng for a week, three times a day, as I am peri-menopausal. I've been experiencing brain fog for nearly a year and a complete lack of energy. Having done some research, ginseng is recommended for these reasons when trying to tackle the dreaded menopause, and I must say today is one of the first days I feel like my old self. I've also combined this with evening primrose oil three times a day and calcium supplements, and I'm aware I'll probably have to do this for the remainder of my life, but it's worth it to future-proof my brain and bones and protect my family from my awful mood swings and depression! Definitely worth a try."
