"I was lucky enough to get this on prescription from an NHS dermatologist. It began working within a very short time. Hair is a lot less, finer, and not so noticeable. Every few weeks, hair seems to increase slightly, but I think that is due to hair's natural cycle as it grows. I am very pleased with this cream and will continue to purchase it myself. The tube lasts about 10 weeks."

"I’ve struggled with coarse, thick upper lip and chin hair for years (really since puberty). As an adult, it had gotten to the point it was negatively impacting my self-esteem, having to tweeze and shave every day so I didn’t look like a man. I tried laser hair removal and after $1,000 in treatments, completely unsuccessful. I went to a dermatologist and he put me on spironolactone, which also didn’t work. I requested a prescription for Vaniqa, after researching this may help (he said it probably wouldn’t help). For about 6 months, I used it once a day and saw 0 improvement. I went through 1 bottle and after reading more about it online, decided to refill my prescription one last time and try it twice a day (morning and night). That was the game changer. I immediately started seeing less and less hair growing in. It’s absolutely unbelievable that this is working. I tweeze a few hairs every couple of days. It’s expensive at $165, but worth every penny to me. One tube will last about 3 months."

"In September 2021, asked OBGYN for Rx during check-up. She was very discouraging, saying she didn't believe it would help someone like me. I'm 10 years past menopause, Mediterranean, light olive with dark hair that has always had some presence on my face (sideburns, above lip, etc.). Before menopause, and the first few years after, this was annoying but manageable with wax. Recent years turned into a huge problem. Vaniqa works perfectly, no side effects. Be patient, takes 3-4 months. My skin is now smooth again from not plucking/waxing daily. Has changed my life - I dream of travel once again in the future when I won't have to worry about unfamiliar mirrors/lighting. Now use only every 24 hours and seems to maintain. Is rather spendy, but as other reviewers have said, I'm too happy to mind giving up a few other things to pay for it; honestly, a bargain at twice the price for the relief it has brought me. I wish everyone the same results I've had - don't delay - sorry I'd not known of it sooner."

"I live in the UK and have battled with dark coarse chin hair for years. It had gotten progressively worse, and I would find stray hairs morning, noon, and night. I was never without my tweezers. I have a home IPL machine, I have tried NoNo and all sorts of other things. None of them worked. I found an online pharmacy that sold Vaniqa. I had to inform my doctor first, who checked for contraindications and then gave the go-ahead. I ordered the cream, and it arrived the next day. Here’s the biggie… I HAVE SEEN AN IMPROVEMENT IN A WEEK! Very few hairs to pluck, and I don’t have that stubbly feeling when I rub cream into my chin. I am so much happier. The £65 I paid is well worth it compared to other so-called hair removal products that simply do not work. My one gripe is that it cannot be purchased over the counter. "I was plucking my chin daily for at least 1 hour a day. My case is not extreme, but it was enough that I was embarrassed to be in the sunlight and hoping people would not notice my chin hairs. I waxed, and it did not seem to get the stubborn hairs. I debated on spending 189 dollars on Vaniqa and finally came to the point of desperation and wanting to try it just to see if it would make a difference. I am so happy that I bought this. Within 3 weeks, I noticed a huge difference. I have plucked a few hairs here and there, but nothing like I used to. I 100% recommend spending the money on this. I am so happy that I did."

"My chin hair was getting worse and worse. I used to wax once every 2 weeks and suddenly I was waxing twice a week and tweezing every day in between. I've had a lot of success with Vaniqa. So far I've used it for 5 weeks, I use it twice a day right after washing my face and drying it, then I apply the cream and rub it in well and leave it for 5 to ten minutes before applying any other products on top. I've seen a huge improvement, my hair is so thin and fine now and barely grows. The hair that does grow is removed extremely easily vs my previous stubborn hairs. I'm so grateful for this product, it is expensive but one tube could easily last 3 months."

"Okay, so I've been using this cream for about maybe 2 weeks tops. I was a little worried that I would spend $178 for this cream and it wouldn't work, but I was desperate at this point. I sucked it up and paid for it. I usually shave morning and night before this cream. I usually shave before work, and by the end of my shift (8 HOURS), the hair would grow back. This cream is A LIFE SAVER! I only have to shave ONCE A DAY, and the hair on my face is not as thick as before. It's only been 2 weeks. Can't wait to see what the progress is by the end of the month. I was getting really depressed over this hair growth, but this stuff is AMAZING!"

"This stuff is absolutely amazing! After a week of using, I barely have any patches left to shave after doing so for around 10 years! Only been using it a month and cannot wait to see how much better it gets in time. I did have some slight burning and lots of spots for the first 10 days of using it, but both have really settled down. To be honest, if I had more time to just wait a little after shaving before applying, it probably wouldn't burn so bad in the first place, so definitely wait around 20 minutes after removing hair to apply."

"I’ve been using since the product first came on the market. Almost 20 years I believe. Luckily it worked for me. I rarely pluck my chin, maybe a hair or two a week. Used to take an hour a day. Saved so much embarrassment. I don’t need makeup. Derm is now trying to convince me to do laser before my hair turns white and it won’t work. I really don’t want to stop using and have to shave which I never did. Vaniqa got expensive, so I’ve been ordering from India online for 2 years now. It’s under the generic name. I was afraid at first, but I pay by e-check and have had no issues. I get 3 tubes, maybe 1.5 each for $70. I probably order 3 times per year for $210 total, shipping free over a certain amount. Not bad at all. And it works exactly the same. No increase in growth with the change!"

"I have struggled with dark coarse hair on my lip and chin since I was 16. I am now 28. I was introduced to Vaniqa a month ago. I have been on it for 3.5 weeks now, and WOW! It is amazing. Before I started using it, I would have to pluck every day for at least an hour. Now I’m plucking once a week, and the hairs are lighter and thinner. I used to have a 5 o'clock shadow that would never leave. It’s almost gone now and barely noticeable. I can finally walk around the house in front of my partner with no makeup on and let him touch my face and not be ashamed. This cream has restored my confidence tremendously. "I have suffered with excessive hair growth on my chin for more than 10 years. I was tweezing in the morning, then by the end of the day I was having to tweeze again! I have tried all sorts of things to remove it in the past, but nothing has worked. I started using this cream 4 weeks ago, and after 2 weeks I was disappointed as I thought it was not doing anything, but now after 4 weeks I have never felt so smooth. I am not plucking just the odd one or two. I’m excited to see what it will be like after the expected 8 weeks, as I am so much happier already. This really is amazing, and I have had no side effects. "I have been using this for years. It works. I am out, and guess what? The manufacturer will not be making it again until September due to no active ingredient available. How in the hell is that possible? You have a patent. You are the only maker of this drug in the USA, and you cannot supply it. I am distraught about this. What am I supposed to do now? "I'm thrilled with this product. After using for 6 weeks, I have gone 7 days without having to remove facial hair. I have blond hair, so hence laser wouldn't work for me. After going through the menopause, I was having to pluck almost daily. I was staggered at the speed the hair was growing. I heard about this product googling methods of hair removal and found out it was available on prescription in the UK. I went to my GP, thinking I would have to beg to get it prescribed as it's very expensive. My GP was extremely sympathetic and happily agreed and wished me good luck, as I believe sadly it doesn't work for everyone. I really hope more ladies hear about this product. Absolute life saver!!"

"I started using this product about a month ago, and I started seeing results immediately! I suffered from coarse chin hair and would often get ingrown hairs that led to scarring from constant tweezing and irritation. I barely have to tweeze anymore, and when I do, the hairs are thin and come out very easily. I do not know if this product has skin lightening agents in it, but I have also noticed that my scarring has faded as well! After suffering for years and not being able to leave the house without makeup, I am happy to say that because of this product, I am starting to feel confident in my own skin again! I absolutely would recommend this product to anyone who could use it. I am consistent with applying twice a day and am very happy with it!"

"Having had extremely dark facial hair all my life and having tried just about everything on the market, I decided to give Vaniqa a go. I was so unbelievably surprised to see a noticeable difference within 3 weeks! My hair growth had slowed down and some hair follicles looked faint compared to before. I've now been using it for 6 months and can honestly say that it's the best thing I've ever tried. "I have had problems with facial hair since my mid-20s. I am now 54. This medication has been LIFE-CHANGING. I have tried electrolysis and laser. Both work, but only for a limited time as the professionals who do this have told me that NEW hair follicles darken and cause problems, even though the hair follicles they have treated are dead. I have plucked 'forever,' causing hairs to get coarser, causing nearly constant breakouts on my chin from ingrown hairs. Bottom line: It took about 4 weeks to notice a big difference. "I am 86 years old and have been using Vaniqa for one year with excellent results and no bad side effects. Prior to this, I had electrolysis treatments every 2 - 3 weeks for over two years with no end in sight. My excess hair problem is on the upper lip and chin area and though my electrolysist was well certified, the problem persisted (although treatments in my early 30's had been successful).
