Clomiphene for Female Infertility "My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for four years. We are both 26 years old. Last year I was rushed into emergency surgery because I had cancerous cysts on my right ovary and cysts that had burst. After the procedure was done, my doctor told me that my left ovary didn't work. It wasn't producing anything. So, he told me that the cancerous cysts were probably the cause of why we hadn't gotten pregnant yet, and if in a year we still weren't pregnant to come back in. Well, one year went by and nothing. So, he prescribed me Clomid and told me to take it day 1 of my period for 5 days. I am currently on day 4/5 and have had no serious side effects besides a minor headache that goes away with Tylenol. I am so excited to see if this works!"

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "This is my second time trying this medication. Earlier this year, I was taking 50 mg once a day on days 5-9 and had sex days 9-14. No luck! So we're trying to give this another try, dosage has been increased to 100 mg a day on days 5-9 and sex on days 9-14. Really hope this works. I have PCOS, and my tubes were checked with dye to make sure they weren't blocked. My insurance company won't pay for medicine."

Clomiphene for Ovulation Induction "I want to review Clomid and Metformin because other people's reviews gave me hope, and I want to pay it back. About me: I am 32, UK-based, TTC for nearly 3 years, 1 miscarriage during that time, PCOS, and high AMH levels. I began taking 50g Clomid (with 1000g Metformin) in September 2021 to induce ovulation, and it worked for me the first time. I did not get pregnant that month, but blood tests confirmed that for the first time in a long time, I had ovulated. I took the same dose in October 2021, and I am currently 5 weeks pregnant!! For me, Clomid has been a true blessing. I took it on days 2-6 of my cycle (starting on the second day of my period) and always just before bed to try and avoid the worst of the side effects. I did get some hot flushes and vaginal dryness, and the second month I was exceptionally emotional/irritable, but TBH I think that was more about the stress of trying to conceive than the actual medication! Good luck to everyone on this journey xxx."

For Ovulation Induction "Clomiphene 50 mg didn’t trigger ovulation, but 100 mg did. We timed sex perfectly and got pregnant on the 2nd round of 100 mg of Clomid after trying for over a year ❤️ I’m 30, and my husband is 38."

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "I am a 25-year-old female diagnosed with PCOS for the past 20 years. Now I am married and trying to conceive for 4 months. Finally, I consulted a doctor, and the doctor prescribed me Metformin, Krimson 35, and Folvite for 3 months. In the 4th month, she prescribed me Clomid 100 mg. January 29, 2020, is my menstrual cycle. I am waiting for positive results. Please pray for me to get a baby."

Clomiphene for Oligospermia "Well, I was actually being treated for secondary hypogonadism. Clomid worked like a charm. The first 4 days I could seriously feel my testicles growing, and it felt like pressure, which sort of caused me to feel aroused all day... strange but sort of pleasant. I also felt happy and young again, like I did when I was younger... super positive... just all around great. Then after around 5 days, the super positive effect wore off, not a bad deal, just sort of a bummer. Then I started to get lightheaded, sort of having balance issues. Not so bad I couldn't drive or anything, but uncomfortable for sure. So, I called my doc (endocrinologist), and he said it would be okay if I reduced my dose from 25 mg/day to 12.5 mg/day (quarter tab). Just got worse."

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "Happy, happy, happy! Thanks to Clomid, I lost hope that I would ever be pregnant, even after taking 50 mg the first month and 150 mg the second month. Then, boom! In February, I missed my period. I did a pregnancy test after missing my period for 2 weeks, and I got a positive pregnancy test, which is very dark in color. Thanks to the Creator of Clomid, I feel like a real woman now."

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "My husband and I have been trying to conceive number 2 for 9 months. I have PCOS and was not ovulating on my own. My husband's tests also showed a low sperm count. Our first pregnancy was planned and conceived the first week of trying. This time has been much harder and very trying. My specialist recommended either Clomid or straight to IVF. I have been taking Clomid for 3 months, first month 50 mg did nothing and second month took 100 mg and ovulated but did not conceive. I definitely know when I ovulated while taking Clomid, it was very obvious. Just finished round 3, 100 mg. Also had side effects on Clomid such as hot flushes, mood swings, and dizziness. Very emotional this time round. Fingers crossed."

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "I found out about 3 years ago I have bad PCOS and not ovulating/low progesterone levels. I was put on 50 mg Clomid, and it didn’t work. I found out my follicle sacs are too small, therefore only holding immature eggs. My dose was upped to 100 mg. I had bad hot flushes, but still didn’t work. I have now been given 150 mg and will be taking my first tablet on day 2 of my cycle tomorrow, 9.11.19. I had 3 miscarriages with a previous partner 6 years ago. I’m guessing down to immature eggs, so fingers crossed this works... good luck to all of you, darlings, and sending baby dust ❤️"

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "My husband and I have been TTC this time around for nearly two years. I just finished my second month of Clomid. I ovulated on the first and second months, but have not gotten pregnant. We are taking a month off from the medication because it has caused us to feel stressed. I'm reading a lot of success stories on here, so I'm hopeful that it will work for us. My doctor will only allow me to be on the medication for 3 cycles before she refers us to a specialist."

I have had every blood test and scan under the sun done, and today, FINALLY, I have found out it’s unexplained infertility and I have my course for 100mg Clomid for 3 months. We want our baby so bad, I am praying I have success like a lot of the stories I am reading on here. Please wish us luck!! x"

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "I'm 27 years old. 6 years ago, my partner (29M) and I decided to try to conceive as we wanted to extend our family. I already have 1 child from a previous relationship. After 2 years of trying, we really struggled to get pregnant, so we went to the doctors. He referred us to our local fertility center, where I found out I have PCOS. We tried Clomid 50 mg for 3 months with no success, so we stopped. We'd been hoping that with us not putting too much pressure on ourselves, it would happen naturally, but we've had no joy. We recently decided to give it a shot again with Clomid. On the first month, I took 50 mg from day 2-6 of my cycle but had no joy. We're now on round two at 100 mg from day 2-6 of my cycle, and we're praying we get our positive lines this time. Reading everyone's lovely success stories really makes my heart warm. Fingers crossed we have our own happy ever after. Pregnancy dust to all."

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "I'm on my second cycle on Clomid. I did ovulate my first cycle but didn't get pregnant. Now, second cycle and I'm on my CD10, going for ultrasound tomorrow and really hoping I get BFP this month. We have been TTC for 5 years, had 2 m/c 5 years ago, and trying ever since, was diagnosed with unexplained fertility. If I've ovulated on the first cycle on dosage 50 mg, does that mean that it's not necessary to go up with the dosage? I'm on 50 mg on my second cycle currently as well, staying positive, hope for the best and needs support. Thank you."

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "Have taken my 3rd dose of 100 mg of Clomid. I took all kinds of tests, and they have said I have unexplained infertility. I take it on days 5-9. I have done blood work and know I'm ovulating, trying to stay hopeful. I have a son and a daughter already in their teens, but want to have a baby with my husband as I remarried."

For Female Infertility "After 1 year of trying to conceive and unexplained infertility, I decided to visit an infertility clinic. The doctor did all checkups for me and my partner in 2 weeks, then put me on Clomid on days 5-9. I got a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks later. Can’t think of words for how thankful I am for the medical progress and technology today. Good luck, everyone."

Clomiphene for Oligospermia "My urologist recommended taking a small dose every two days, and it increased my testosterone level dramatically. He suggested it was a safer option than taking the actual testosterone drug, and it worked. I stopped taking it due to an upcoming surgery. Looking to get back on it."

For Female Infertility "After over a year of trying to conceive but being unsuccessful due to PCOS, my OB-GYN prescribed Clomid to me. I had no side effects whatsoever. Even though she warned me it could make me mean, I wasn't. I didn't know if it was working for that fact alone. Did the deed many times during the ovulation period. Came up pregnant on my first dose. Everyone is different, but this was the push I needed to make a mini."

Clomiphene for Female Infertility "I've been trying to get pregnant again since 2019. We already have a 5-year-old, but I got the Skyla IUD after having my son. I had it for 3 years and got it taken out, but it caused my cycle to not come back normal. I was put on 500 mg of metformin once a day to see if it helped. It did a little bit and then stopped again, and then my new OB-GYN prescribed me metformin 1000 mg and Provera to start my cycle, and on day 3, start Clomid 50 mg. I’m praying it works for me. Please pray for me."

Clomiphene for Ovulation Induction "I took Clomid for the first time days 5-9, and the side effects are the worst! I already have heart problems, so I thought that's what was going on. I went to the ER for severe chest pain, and all tests were negative. After researching, I realize it's bad indigestion. I also have Fibro and am used to back pain, but Clomid gave me the worst back pain I've ever felt, along with nausea and migraines. I have to lay down or walk hunched over to relieve some pain. I've also been extremely fatigued. I had to nap 3 times a day for a few hours and still feel exhausted. My uterus feels so sore and heavy. I'm on cycle day 15 and still showing a flashing (OPK) Ovulation Predictor Kit. Hopefully, tomorrow is peak day so I can get pregnant already!"

Clomiphene for Ovulation Induction "I have been trying to conceive for about 3 years, but no luck. I had an issue with my period, and I don't ovulate. So, in 2021, my OB put me on Letrozole 5 mg for 5 days, but unfortunately, my egg growth was not good. The OB said because of my weight, my egg is not growing. So my husband and I lost hope, and then a miracle happened this year. Again, I went to an OB in March, then they did an ultrasound, and the OB prescribed me Clomid 100 mg for cycle days 3 to 7. Then, on the 12th cycle, I went for an ultrasound to check the follicle growth. On my right, there were no follicles, on the left, I had 21 mm and 16 mm follicles. So, on that day, the doctor gave an HCG injection to ovulate. On the 13th cycle, I ovulated, and I waited for 9 DPO to check for pregnancy, but it showed negative. Again, I felt it didn't work. So finally, I missed my period, and after 3 days, today I took a pregnancy test, it came back positive. Clomid's 1st cycle has been a success. I will pray for all those who are going through this infertility!"
