For Female Infertility "So I have been TTC for years. I am 24 years old and I don’t have regular periods, so my doctor prescribed Clomid 50mg for me to take for 5 days, as well as Provera to induce my period. My period did come and I started the Clomid on cycle day 2. It’s now cycle day 28 and I am experiencing some symptoms such as lower back ache, sore nipples, and cramps. Can’t wait to do my pregnancy test, hoping it’s positive. Anyone else experience these symptoms?"

For Ovulation Induction "I took Clomid for the first time days 5-9, and the side effects are the worst! I already have heart problems, so I thought that's what was going on. I went to the ER for severe chest pain, and all tests were negative. After researching, I realize it's bad indigestion. I also have Fibro and am used to back pain, but Clomid gave me the worst back pain I've ever felt, along with nausea and migraines. I have to lay down or walk hunched over to relieve some pain. I've also been extremely fatigued. I had to nap 3 times a day for a few hours and still feel exhausted. My uterus feels so sore and heavy. I'm on cycle day 15 and still showing a flashing (OPK) Ovulation Predictor Kit. Hopefully, tomorrow is peak day so I can get pregnant already!"

For Female Infertility "I always go on the internet and read your stories because every time I read them, it restores hope and faith in me. I'm 27 years old, been trying to get pregnant for 4 years, but last year, in June 2020, I started seeing a GYN doctor. He ran some tests and found out I'm infertile, then he prescribed me Clomid straight to 100 mg for six months, and luckily nothing happened, but I was ovulating. Then after these months, he booked me for laparoscopy surgery to check my tubes. I had my surgery in March 2021 and found out my left tube is totally blocked and my right tube is okay. After all that, my doctor called me in for check-ups and stuff. He prescribed me Clomid again, first cycle 50 mg and nothing happened, and second 100 mg on days 2-6 of my cycle. This time around no side effects at all, but recently, I'm having side pains, back pains, and breast pain. I'm thinking maybe it's PMS or just my imagination."

For Female Infertility "Month 5 on Clomid, 25 mg days 5-10 and still no luck. I've been charting temps and using OPKs, while being monitored every month with scans and lab work. Side effects are rough after I ovulate. I cramp and get backaches to the point where I can't get out of bed. Thinking this will be my last month since I've been gaining about 8 lbs per month."

For Ovulation Induction "My husband and I are both 35 and have been trying to conceive naturally for 7 months. He has a low sperm count, I have irregular cycles or heavy ones. So my doctor put me on Clomid 50 mg for 5 days, took my first round on day 4 of my cycle, and finished the first round. We are now trying each and every day. Symptoms I've had are hot flushes, mood swings, fatigue, slight headaches, and now and then stomach cramps. I have lower back pain, started to get pimples, and started to get hunger pains in the morning. Later, after eating, I still feel hungry (don't know if that's normal). Today is the 8th day after my cycle, and my next period, according to my calendar, starts 22 days from now. I'm really hoping and praying that we conceive on the first round and miss my cycle. We really want our first baby, and I want to surprise him with a positive result. Any advice and tips on symptoms from the medicine and after taking it on the first go?"
