"Had to switch from Bicitra to Oracit, as Bicitra became unavailable. Both work extremely well, beginning right after the diagnosis of renal tubular acidosis in 2006. I have no side effects and have never had another symptom (intolerance to cold, extreme weight loss). Both Bicitra and Oracit taste terrible! I solved the problem by mixing a 'cocktail' with 1 oz of Bicitra or Oracit with two ounces of good-tasting berry antioxidant supplement, a scoop of Citrucel (to keep lower tract working well), and fill the rest of a 16 oz covered measure with PowerAde 'zero' (sugarless). Shake well with some ice cubes to help mix and drink before breakfast next day. It works perfectly."
