Uses of Poly-Vi-Flor:

• It is used to help growth and good health.
• Fluoride may be in the vitamin to prevent tooth decay.

• Purified water may not have fluoride.

How is this medicine (Poly-Vi-Flor) best taken?

Give Poly-Vi-Flor (pediatric multivitamin drops with fluoride) as ordered by your child's doctor. Read all information given to you. Follow all instructions closely.

• Give Poly-Vi-Flor (pediatric multivitamin drops with fluoride) with or without food. Give with food if it causes an upset stomach.
• Some drugs may need to be given with food or on an empty stomach. For some drugs, it does not matter. Check with your pharmacist about how to give Poly-Vi-Flor (pediatric multivitamin drops with fluoride) to your child.
• Measure liquid doses carefully. Use the measuring device that comes with Poly-Vi-Flor (pediatric multivitamin drops with fluoride).
• Shake well before use.

What do I do if I miss a dose?

• Give a missed dose as soon as you think about it.
• If it is close to the time for your child's next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your child's normal time.
• Do not give 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

What are some side effects that I need to call my doctor about right away?

• Store in the original container at room temperature.
• Store in a dry place. Do not store in a bathroom.
• Protect from heat and light.
• Keep lid tightly closed.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep all drugs in a safe place. Keep all drugs out of the reach of children and pets.
• Throw away unused or expired drugs. Do not flush down a toilet or pour down a drain unless you are told to do so. Check with your pharmacist if you have questions about the best way to throw out drugs. There may be drug take-back programs in your area.
