Uses of Ivy Block:
- It is used to prevent poison oak, ivy, and sumac rashes.
What do I need to tell my doctor BEFORE I take Ivy Block?
- If you are allergic to Ivy Block (bentoquatam); any part of Ivy Block (bentoquatam); or any other drugs, foods, or substances. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had.
- If there is a rash on the area where Ivy Block (bentoquatam) will be used.

- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant. You will need to talk about the benefits and risks of using Ivy Block (bentoquatam) while you are pregnant.
- Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding. You will need to talk about any risks to your baby.
How is this medicine (Ivy Block) best taken?
Use Ivy Block (bentoquatam) as ordered by your doctor. Read all information given to you. Follow all instructions closely.
- Follow how to use carefully.
- Do not take Ivy Block (bentoquatam) by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Shake well before use.
- Put a thin layer on the skin and rub in gently 15 minutes before you may be exposed.
- Use soap and water to take Ivy Block (bentoquatam) off after there is no longer a risk of being exposed.
- If Ivy Block (bentoquatam) gets in the eyes, rinse with cool water.
What do I do if I miss a dose?
- This medicine is used on an as needed basis. Do not use more often than told by the doctor.
