Try melatonin.
My hometown is in the rural area. Zolpidem is not available in my location. Sir it is a request for you. please help me sir. Thank you
I believe so.
I have had a sleeping problem for 19 years. I take zolpidem (ambien). Many nights I still don't sleep. I have more trouble staying asleep. I recently added melatonin 3 mg with ambien. Not sure if I should but sleep very important to me going through health issues. I find that I can stop adding things when I break the cycle after a few weeks. Lunesta didn't do a thing for me never slept all night. Zolpidem not for anxiety-different issue. If you don't need sleeping pills don't stay on zolpidem. I'm addicted to it. Maybe you could talk to your DR about melatonin and anxiety medicine? So many side effects to the drug. I have started sleep eating some nights. Try to keep nothing in house that I would snack on during the night. I was even eating sunflower seeds. Nothing like waking up with them in your bed! Scary. I have stopped doing that but have been on them over 10 years! Again talk to your DR about changes.
I started on AmbienCR and it total knocked me out, to scary. Then I went to to generic zolpidem 10mg, now it's not working so I've been breaking a piece off and taking it at 4:30 in the morning to get through the rest of the night. I think I'll try the Lunesta.
Some people are getting excellent results from melatonin. I know someone who has a life long problem sleeping and the very first night it was taken was also the first night sleep happened quickly.
Be sure you follow the recommendations by sleep doctors. Dark room, turn clock away from you, quiet, use a wave machine or repetitive quiet sound in background to cover small noises, keep room cool, remove any monitor lights, no tv or computer in the room, read a book when you take the melatonin, get comfortable and you will feel the drowsiness. Turn out the light and enjoy your sleep. Should you have a worry, write it down on a pad of paper by the bed and take care of it in the morning. And most of all, if you wake up in a few hours and don't fall back asleep, get up, go I another room, read and soon you will go back.,this is retraining the mind. Most people find it is not the sleeping that is the issue. It is an illogical fear of not sleeping.
Once you get through that, therapist is a good idea to learn how, you will go back to sleeping. Just like when you were a baby.
They started me on seroquel 50mg for sleep bc I wasn't sleeping on ambien. They have other sleep aids in the ambien family that may help but they are really similar.
Lunesta is the closest alternative to Zolpidem but it is just for sleep. Zolipidem is not indicated for anxiety.
