Over a month ago I began Zoloft 50mg while decreasing 17.5 mg Lexapro
I felt some better but seemed to be bothered by anxiety which was causing more depression
Didn’t feel like eating etc
Doctor told me next step was to increase Zoloft to 75mg
I am very sensitive to medication
So is it ok to cut the tablets into small doses until you build up ?
Zoloft and increasing slowly?

I used to take Zoloft and started @ 50mg first 30 days then right up to 100mg.
Zoloft is good medicine for Anxiety. Unlike others that just make the Anxiety and depression invisible like until you stop.
Zoloft heals Anxiety and I think taking the correct dose prescribed everyday at same time is better for the way the medicine works.
You could take it at bed to avoid the problem it may be causing. My doctor told me we could go up to 400mg a month. But I have since switched Drs and was weaned off Zoloft and started on prozac. No reason given just did a whole new treatment plan Which has been a good change. I wouldn't split this medicine in half due to the dosage is meant to work as prescribed. It may not work right if you alter it. And it does take 30 days to notice it's effect. Everytime the dosage is changed there's a timeline as to when you will have full relief from it. Definitely would not split the dosage. Good luck.
