I was just prescribed Zanaflex for muscle cramps related to my attempting to walk again after severely breaking my ankle and wearing a cast for two months. As commonly experienced, I feel sleepy after taking a dose. However, I also experience hearing loss in both ears after taking a dose. The hearing loss dissipates after a few hours, but it remains a concern, as I find no mention of this side effect anywhere.
