Why on Earth would you want to do this? The answer is no. You should never be taking two anxiolytics at the same time. You're simply is no need for that. Take one and make sure that you are on the proper dose to control your anxiety.
Hi, Azjen!
"Using diazePAM together with clonazePAM may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. Some people, especially the elderly, may also experience impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Also avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns."
"The recommended maximum number of medicines in the 'tranquilizers' category to be taken concurrently is usually one. Your list includes two medicines belonging to the 'tranquilizers' category:
diazepam
Klonopin (clonazepam)
Note: In certain circumstances, the benefits of taking this combination of drugs may outweigh any risks. Always consult your health care provider before making changes to your medications or dosage."
Ask your doctor to verify the dosage and frequency you are able to take. No changes in a medication schedule should be done without a doctor's strict supervision.
