I did that. I made an attempt late last year. Took all the smaller dosage build up ones then stopped due to a drug interaction.I am now off of the other drug so, this Feb. I just went back on the full dose, first day. The side effects have been much worse this way though and who knows if they would have happened with or without that 10 day build up? I am on my second month-quit smoking after 10 days. I would be careful because I have had a rough time with this drug this time. I quit w/ Chantix 8 years ago and had virtually NO side effects. Was dating a smoker and after 9 months smoke free I started again. Now, am suffering many nasty side effects yet I am 19 days smoke free. Ask a Pharmacist or your MD if your very nervous about it.
