I stopped taking Concerta after 3 years as I was feeling anxious and sad with the medication. Was off meds and taking Ritalin only when needed. Was diagnosed with depression and doctor prescribed Zoloft 50 mg. Started with 25mg first week and 50 mg second week. Was feeling very sleepy with Zoloft and stomach upset after 3 days of 50 mg. Doctor advised to cut back to 25 mg and take it at night. Started Concerta again but took it close to 1pm - so now I have insomnia. Is it better to take both Concerta and Zoloft earlier in the day at the same time or take Concerta in the morning and Zoloft at night?
Can you take Concerta (36mg) and Zoloft (25mg) together?

Hi, Kiwi!
You might have to experiment a little as Zoloft can also cause insomnia in some users but it can make some people drowsy. You'll have to see how it affects you... maybe take the methylphenidate early and try the Zoloft at night to see if it keeps you up or not. If it does you'll probably want to take it in the morning with the Concerta.
I take a different antidepressant that's very energizing for me so I take it with my Ritalin in the morning.
