Fioricet has one controlled substance in it called Butalbatol, which is a Barbiturate. Another barbiturate that you may have heard of is Phenobarbital . This type of drug is a sedative that was much more popular before benzodiazepines became popular. A benzodiazepine is like Xanax or Valium, ot Ativan. If you take drug tests and you have the Fioricet in your system without a prescription it will show up positive for Barbiturates. The othr 2 drugs in Fioricet are Acetaminophen, which is Tylenol, and Caffeine. T is most often prescribed for migraines and headaches. I hope this was the information you were looking for
