What are the clear crystal "rocks" in the bottom of hydrocodone syrup?

Its sugar from the syrup they use in the suspension. I'm on Methadone and used to take hycodan, tussionex, the yellowish syrup that last long. I have also had the phenergren with codeine. If they didn't use that much sugars u wouldn't be able to stand it.
