Ronald; Hard to really say but give the doctor a call Monday morning it is possible that could be something they did during surgery and did not tell you or if your lucky just Inflammation But all you can do for now is wait and call the doctor Tomorrow.

Not a problem Ron but get a call into the doctor today, Just to make sure it is nothing serious and hopfully the sooner it is addressed the less problems you well have.
It sounds like an inguinal hernia. See your doctor who will do some minor manipulation as an exploratory test and probably send you for an ultrasound to confirm or rule out my speculation. I was tested for all of that until the doctor decided an xray would be helpful (8 months later) the determined I had avascular necrosis of the femoral head and essentially a broken hip. Two years later it had bored a hole in my pelvis (before I got the new hip). Strangely the presenting symptoms are almost identical.
