Hi there, I have been taking phentermine for 2 1/2 weeks. My first week I lost 7 pounds. I was 183.6. I am currently 176.8. I am a little frustrated that I have been at 176 or so for over a week now. I go to the gym at least 4 sometimes 5 times a week. I burn an extra 250-450 calories everytime I go. I do the seated elliptical for 6 miles everytime, I do 100 sqauts and 50 situps. I then take my kids swimming for at least 30-45 minutes where I will use a water noodle and kick on my belly from side to side of the pool then ill switch to my back and do the same for almost the whole time to burn more calories. My calorie count for the day is below 1200 everyday. I have given up all my sweet treats. I drink my coffee in the morning with a sweetened creamer which is my only treat for the day. I have been a low carb high fat high protein eater for the last 4 months. My carbs are always below 20 grams a day. Usually I eat 6-15 carbs a day. I only drink water and nothing else. I am 38 years old, I have no issues such as thyroid problems, Im not diabetic. I was just tested for those issues and everything was fine. So I google what may be causing my stall and found this website. The phentermine pill I take is a little white pill with blue specks in it, kinda looks like a certs. I am curious about the phen cap that is being discussed. There are so many out there Id like to get the best one available. Can you please tell me which one you are taking. Thanks so much

I wanted to add that I also eat 2 to 4 gummy fiber pills a day aswell as twice a week I take 1 female laxative to make sure that I do not get constipated.
I hate Phentermine! I always plateau at about 20 lbs weight loss. Then I get fast heart rate, constipation, and severe dry mouth.
I've been on a low carb diet since 2011 (lost 50 lbs, kept off 30). I think maybe you can add in more carbs... sit at about 15-20 daily. Atkins only advises you be under 20 for the first 2 weeks of the Induction Phase.
You body gets used to things quickly, shock it here and there. Seems like you're doing a lot of aerobics, perhaps get with a trainer to build some muscle, as muscle vs fat increases your metabolism.
Here are 100s of phentermine reviews from people who have used it. It's highly rated as successful. You might find some tips at this link:
Another tip that works for me is to "mix it up", meaning to eat a very different meal, even one that violates your diet rules, just for one meal. It seems to throw your system for a loop and helps your weight loss to continue. My body quickly adapts to a diet and I have to have variety tossed in regularly to keep losing weight. It might work for you, too.
