My doctor told me to up my sertraline dose from 25mg to 50mg after 1 week. Today is the 1 week mark and she hasn't called or seen me to eval my 1st weeks progress. I want to see if I can get well with staying on 25mg as I have noticed a significant change for the better in my condition. What is a sure sign/symptom that tells me I need to be on a higher dose?
Can I wait longer then a week to up my sertraline dose from 25mg to 50mg?

Well, you have noticed improvements and that is very relevant, you answered your own question, meaning this is not a race to increase your dosage if you feel you are doing better. I agree with you, there is no rush in increasing the dose, wait another week, that is my advice, evaluate your condition and take it from there. You are the one taking this antidepressant not your Psychiatrist and, of course, if you had not felt any improvements, I would then consider increasing the dose. As I mentioned, this is not a race.
Have a nice day, masso
Hi masso!
Thank you for your advice. I will continue on 25mg and monitor condition.
You are welcome.
