My doctor recommend I up my dose when ever I am ready to. I failed to ask her how do I know when? And what can I expect from side effects going up from 25mg to 50mg? Any thoughts would be much obliged. Today is day 12 on 25mg and I can feel anxiety and depression creeping back. Also been having bad dreams most every night.
How do I know it is time to up my dose of sertraline 25mg to 50mg?

What you are describing could mean time to up your dose. 50 mg is not bad, shouldn't have terribly different side effects than the 25 mg dose. Keep in contact with your doctor. It takes a few weeks for new dose to fully kick in.

My dr. said the same thing about my description and upping my dose. I just know its possible to get well while on 25mg for some people. I am just debating with myself.. Wait 4 weeks on 25mg and see how I feel then. Or up my dose and suffer side effects. I am really hopeful for this medication to work and I just want to feel myself again.
