I have taken 25mg of Zoloft for a little over a month and my doctor says that since she sees slight improvement that she wants to up it to 50. I hate medication side effects and had bad nausea when first starting the 25. I’m nervous to up the dosage because I don’t want my anxiety to get even worse than it already is. Has anyone had experience with increased anxiety with upping the dosage?
Going from 25mg to 50mg Zoloft dose?

I experienced the same issue every time I went up in dosage. My body was very sensitive to Zoloft and I couldn't handle 50mg right away, it was just too much nausea, anxiety, etc. I had to cut all the way down to 12.5mg for a few weeks and then to 25mg. Currently I am on 37.5mg and with each increase my anxiety came back to the point I was having panic attacks again. Good news for me is after the first week the anxiety went away. Everyone is different, but hopefully your anxiety will subside once it gets into your system. It all just takes time so hang in there and good luck!
How is it working for you now. I started 25 mg and no 37.5 for a week. My anxiety is high, nausea with no appetite and headache. I don’t want to take this but I want this anxiety gone. Is it still working for you?
Keep going! It took awhile to get up to 50mg and I was just like you throughout the process. I have been on 50mg for almost a month now and I have no issues besides a slight case of insomnia. I feel so much better to the point that I don't need my anxiety medication as much as before. I used to take something 3 times a day and now it's just in the morning. I know it feels like the sickness will never end and everyone is different, but stick with it. The reward is so worth it once it levels off in your system. I hope this helps and good luck to you!
It's normal to feel a bit of anxiety when we increase the dose but don't worry it will likely pass in some time.
