Has anyone ever dealt with vitamin D deficiency causing twitching/muscle spasms? I was put on d2 for mine being low. Recently started twitching. Particularly my calves and sometimes my right eyelid. I’m just wondering has someone else dealt with this because I’m being put on different medications to try and calm it down and nothing is working. I was told it would take up to three weeks for the vitamin D to start being at a normal level. I don’t have that long. Can’t be super tired at work. My doctor is really trying to help me deal with this and I go back to her next week.
Vitamin D deficiency anyone?

Do some research on magnesium deficiency. This can also cause muscle twitching and if you are on vitamin D supplements this can also lower magnesium. Book: The Magnesium Miracle by Dr., Carolyn Dean is excellent. Good Luck!
Forgot to mention the twitching has slowed some. Not so much with my eyelid or upper lip. Knock on wood.
