I have major arthritis and lots of pain. I want to know can I take Tylenol 8 hrs pill daytime and Aleve pm after that at night.
Can I take Tylenol in the morning and 8 hrs later take Aleve for arthritis?

Like Tyler said, they're from different families, so it's not like your "max 2,000 mg/day" is being affected by adding the two together.

You can but Tylenol isn't as effective as Aleve or other NSAIDs for arthritis, so you may start taking it in the morning too.
You can take both at the same time as they're two different families of medicines. Tylenol is acetaminophen while Aleve is naproxen a non-steriod anti-inflammatory (NSAID) related to aspirin ibuprofen and celebrex. You can't take two NSAIDs at the same time.
