Triamcinolone wont kill MRSA infection. This cream is only good for redness and itching of an allergic dermatitis or something like that is non-infectious. It isnt good for any kind of bacterial infections, resistant or not! It is contraindicated in the presence of fungal, viral or bacterial infections.
If you have MRSA using triamcinolone is the worst way you can go. Steroids support infection, not get rid of them. Didn't she think it was MRSA? I can't imagine any dr just ordering steroid cream for MRSA. Do not use it and contact her asap.
She did not say but told me if it was MRSA that what she was giving me would take care of it. I had told her I used hydrocortisone cream and it was not working. Second time in two month I had to call this office out on things like this. They do not like it. I think they did not want to test because they would have to report it as I had had surgery right before this appeared.
Well now you have 2 nurses telling you its not the right med and it would do more harm then good, so blame us when you call her, lol
