I have not been sleeping for more than 8-10 hours per WEEK - usually go 3-4 days with NO sleep and other days 2-3 hours if I took Lunesta and Melatonin. I pretty much stopped the Lunesta because it was not worth taking and laying awake. My mind races, I suspect I am in Peri-Menopause. So Dr wants me to try Trazodone, said take 50-100, I took 50 and laid awake, didn't feel much so 1hr later I took 50mg more - Still no sleep :( So, should I try 100mg again tonight or should I boost it up or is it save to say Trazodone is not going to work for me? Thanks for your help!
Trazodone - If 100mg did not put me to sleep should I try 150 tonight or 100mg again?

I can't imagine taking 100 mg of trazedone and staying awake, lol... if the dr told you you can increase it, then go ahead. If not you should talk to him.
She didn't really tell me much, just called it in, the bottle says 50 or 100mg per night for sleep, since it didn't work and it's on a weekend and I PRAY for sleep on the weekend since I have more time to sleep than work nights (M-F) I thought about increasing tonight but man I am so loopy this morning from the hangover from it and NOT sleeping it off... urg
