I have a client on Depakote sprinkles, Zyprexa, Celexa, Donepezil and Memantine. I noticed yesterday that he keeps sticking his tongue out through his pursed lips. Is this some kind of tardive dyskinesia?
Tongue thrusting all the time?

Hi, Augustbaby!
Considering that the client is taking Zyprexa (olanzapine), the most likely suspect, and Depakote (divalproex sodium sodium) it could be early TD. Involuntary abnormal mouth and tongue movements can be a first indication.
The prescribing physician should be alerted who can then do a re-evaluation of your client and their drug regimen.
