No works better without food, but if it upsets your stomach then take with food
give the drug after meals or a light snack for optimal absorption and to decrease risk of dizziness, this is what I have found in the site descbribing the drug. I wish you the very best,
I used to take it, but don't anymore. Never had to eat something with it to work. It just quit working after a while, but I do always take my pain med, wait 15 minutes & eat something even if a cookie & they seem to kick in that way so much better. Found this out accidentley. Maybe you should try that and see if it helps. I now take Xanax to sleep. Hope this helps...
Hi Chartsak,
I don't eat before I take Trazodone. It works just fine for me.
Hi my name is Jan i use to be on Trazadone for sleep but it didnt help me at all so they gave me xanax since it is my panic keeping me up!
To answer your question my online Best friend takes it for sleep and always eats a little something with it he swears it helps it kick in better just like me and my xanax if i eat with that i fall asleep quicker than if i dont eat with it. BTW i woulkd try eating a little something with it since he is having such success that way? If that doesnt work I would ask for something else not medical advice just a suggestion hon i have heard alot of people it doesnt work for but my BF is having a good thing with it as long as he eats a little something with it as i said. hey GOOD luck to u lol will be praying for ya janymak
