I’m on Adderall (15mg XR early am, 5mg IR midday) and it’s mostly great. Took a while to get that dose, was still having issues and after tracking realized it was pretty severe PMDD. Doctor just added Aoloft and I’m wondering peoples experiences and if you take Zoloft in the evening to have less interaction or if you take them together?
What time of day to take Zoloft for PMDD when on Adderall for ADHD?

99.9 percent of people with this combo do just fine. If Zoloft makes you tired than ask your doctor if you can take it at bedtime.
Hi, Lc425!
There are some issues combining these two medications:

You might want to read through it and take any concerns to your doctor. Chances are that they are aware of these interactions and have determined that the benefits outweigh the potential risks to you.
I am aware, thank you. Both the dr and pharmacist mentioned in my low doses the side effects are even more unlikely so no need to worry unless one pops up. The pharmacist was more concerned with taking the sertraline intermittently, I told him I’d let him know how it goes
There have been quite a few studies that have shown that SSRI's are effective when taken intermittently (from ovulation to menses). Results are almost immediate as opposed to the 4-8 weeks of continuous use for SSRI's to become fully effective for depression/anxiety.
Best of luck to you!
