It does not come in pill form. Its a powder& can be mixed up in just about anything. My.Mom in law uses coffee but she has IBS or something. Im constipated due to drug's I have to take.
The Miralax works for me in about 30 to 40 minutes. I lay on my right side to help my stomach & it work's better for me.
Good luck with the Miralax powder and be sure to mix it up in something you enjoy drinking and even water.
I agree with the panel. Physilluim fiber comes in pills but are not effective. RestoraLAX is one brand of Glycol 3550, and there are a few other brands available depending on your location.
MiraLAX is polyethylene glycol 3350 and comes in 119gm/4.1 ounces (7 standard daily doses) packets to jars weighing 765gm/1 pound 11 ounces (45 standard daily doses) to be taken with fluid and is available over the counter or by prescription. Your doctor, it seems from your question, wants you take half the standard daily dose per day which would be a bit under one third of an ounce. It does not come in pills as they would be huge.
Thank you, Stephen. Now it makes sense.
Glad to be of help.
