It seems to work if i dont fight it...but it does not seem to help with my tension headache in the back of my head....Might sound weird, but can I take otc meds while im doing I-theanine?

Advised by compound pharmacist to take 200 mg with the evening meal with an optional
200 mg at bedtime. This seems to be helping me. My anxiety is stress induced (family illness) so I do not know if this dosage is suitable under all circumstances.
I have been taking L-Theanine for 1 1/2 months and what works best for me is 100mg as soon as I get up and then another 100mg about mid afternoon. That seems to work for the day unless I am under alot of stress and then I may need an extra one in the evening to help me settle down.

Yes for anxiety and it has worked very well. In reading up on it I found that I could double what I have been taking but I haven't needed to so far.
take it with food?
It absorbs best if taken on an empty stomach with a full glass of water.
