Hi, hope everyone is doing well.
I'm going away next month for 5 days and will likely need to take Xanax to help to put my mind at ease for sleep assistance and I'm concerned that this may trigger withdrawal side effects and or trigger a need for reliance. I'll be taking either 0.5 or 1mg each day in the evening. Currently I use it maybe once a week or so. Valium I take about 2 times a week to assist with voluntary/involuntary muscle relaxation after intense training sessions. Recently I watched a Netflix special on benzos and it scared the living hell out of me in terms of w/d and reliance.

It all depends on your tolerance too them. I’ve taken them for almost seven years straight every day. One week I can take half of a 2mg. The next week I can take 2 full 2mg. I can do that for a week or 2 straight and on the 3rd week I can take 0 all week. Won’t be fun but I haven’t withdrawn from them. But I’ve seen the documentary too I understand some people will start to question it but in almost every case I have seen with a Xanax overdose it was mixing it with something else.
