I'm taking tramadol 50mg once every 12 hours. I just had surgery and was given 5mg oxycodone to take 1 every 6 hours. How will tramadol affect the oxycodone and visa versa? Is it okay to stop the tramadol until I'm finished with the oxycodone?

I would take them both. Tramadol is very mild, but may help with a little breakthrough pain post-op. Good luck
