I’ve been around the block once or twice although I’m only 24 I’ve been on klonopin for years. I would like to know what my best option would be other than the main 4 benzos.

Why switch? Ativan is the best alternative but is short acting compared to Clonazepam or Klonopin. I don’t recommend Xanax or Valium. Xanax is fast acting and this creates a problem. It has that quick “feel good” that leads to substance abuse issues. Also, memory issues are prevalent with people over 40 give or take a couple years. Valium is ancient and it really depends on the person. I have taken all 4 and Valium just didn’t help. Ativan is good but short acting. Although, I hear a 3 month pill is about to come out. Klonopin works the best in my opinion.
