It's been over an hour since it took my first dose of Suprep Drank the two 16 ounces water as directed Ive tried a little while ago to drink more water but cant My colonoscopy is tomorrow at 1pm. So far nothing has happened The only thing that's happened is I have the chills. When is this going to take effect and I start going? What if I never go? I don't want to do this again

The time range varies so its hard to say. You should be drinking lots and lots of liquids each end every hour. I had a colonoscopy 2 weeks ago. My gastro dr has u take 4 Dulcolax tablets at noon the day before the procedure followed by 8 ounces of liquids every hour until 8pm then u use a whole large bottle of Miralax in 64 ounces of Gatoraid and consume it the next hour. After the noon Dulcolax it took 1 hour and 45 minutes exactly to start. The clean out process lasted me till like 11pm. Once your no longer passing feces u will still go but it will be a bright yellowish fluid coming out of you. When u see that your all cleaned out. It should start soon. Just keep guzzling lots of liquids each hour because thats the key to it. Be sure to not drink anything red or purple. I did drink coke during the clean out process the day before. Its a myth that u cant drink a coke. It dont hurt nothing. Be sure and dont eat any food at all. Hard candy is fine though just no red or purple. Good luck.

Coke wont hurt anything? Do a little experiment for me. Pour a glass of coke and put a piece of meat in it, like hamburger, and watch what happens. That is what Coke does to an empty digestive system. It may not have hurt you, but it is not a good idea. If you have a raw area, like a lesion or ulcer anywhere in the stomach or intestines, Coke will eat at it just like it does that piece of meat! You shouldnt give people advise about things you dont know about!
