I took Levaquin 500 mg x 2 days and almost immediately started having leg/calf cramps and swelling. My doctor d/c'd the drug, and 3 weeks later I still having relentless calf cramps. Anyone else have this problem, and how long did it last?

I have suffered greatly from taking (5) doses of Levaquin. I believe I would have had ruptured tendons if I had remain seated the vast majority of 4 days. My pain continues, but less than normal with the supplements I am taking. If I reduce them, the pain increases. C.E.

I was given azithromycin. I was scared and did not take it. Then I was given Levaquin. I was told of the increased risk for bleeding, and did not take the antibiotics. Isn't there something safe to use while on warfarin?
